Pinnacle Homes History

Ron Henkel broke into the home building industry in 1982 when he obtained his real estate license and later began building homes in the Wayne County area. From 1989 to 1995, Ron went to work for Fran Hirsch Development in Penfield, New York, where he was Field Supervisor, overseeing the day to day construction operations. In 1995, Ron began R.H. Project Management, a company that provided supervision and estimating for several smaller custom builders, managing high-end home construction in Monroe and Ontario Counties. In 2000, Ron went to work for Pinnacle Homes building custom homes in their Harvest Hills Subdivision in Henrietta. Ron became President of Pinnacle Homes in 2003 when he bought out the managing partner, and since that time has built hundreds of custom homes and town homes throughout the Rochester, New York area.

Ron has served as President of the Rochester Home Builders’ Association (RHBA), past New York State Builders’ Association (NYSBA) Director, and still serves on the board of the Rochester Home Builders’ Association.
